Aunt Bean - thought you might enjoy these photos - my wife works at an elementary school here in the bay area and they have a small farm out back - where they have planted these fava beans late last year and look at them now! I think they're growing them to plough back as "fertilizer"

Good news, we've had lots of record breaking warm weather, bad news, we need more rain!
