I am hopeful that I may be able to find more answers and where I need to go from here for treatment. This lady I am going to is very good and is looking at all my medical records and the whole picture. So I am hopeful. I will let you know what I find out. The Clonazepam is really helping me and my dad with the sleep disorder. I know what you mean about day time sleepiness but I have severe anxiety so it is good for me.
Hope you are doing well today.

Hi, good to hear from you and so glad that you are getting more opinions. Today for me has been pretty good, for me lol. Last weekend was a different thing though, I could hardly seperate/dispel my dreams from reality and struggled to waken at all on Sunday. Never had it so vivid, I was exhausted. My General Practitioner has written to the neurologist to ask him to speed up my review. At the moment the NHS appears to be in an almost crisis and it has been months overdue. I am going to talk to him about the clonazapam. It is the first time I have really felt like giving up. But today is another day and we just have to try and focus on the best bits.
Let me know if you get any answers. I have sent a saliva sample off to 23andme to see if anything is flagged up.

Default Vivid dreams

Hi Waterwillow,
I know what you mean about not being able to separate your dreams from real life sometimes. The dreams are that vivid and violent. The clonazepam is really helping. I would definately ask about it. Let me know if you find any answers as well. I have my second session of Neuropsychological testing on the 11th - Monday so I will let you know what I learn from that.
Hope you are feeling well today. I am having a high anxiety day. I don't know why. I hate it when I feel like this. Also, feel like I had a seizure last night so that is probably why I feel so bad today. Those seizures hurt. I wake up feeling like I have been beat with a baseball bat. Well, I will just try and make it through the day.
Much love to you all,
Brain

Funny you mention neuropsychology, when I saw them during my admission to hospital they queried why I had been asked for their input but said they would put me on a waiting list to discuss things again, that was last May and have never heard from them. Life has been difficult recently!!! so my General Practitioner saw me last Friday, noticed just how hard things were becoming and has asked the Community Mental Health Team to see me, he also wrote to my Neurologist. Whatever he said he wants to see me on the 25th March. Dread it in some ways but there is no doubt in my mind things are changing. Never been so tired in my life. They also want to do a colonoscopy, ahhhhh. It's no wonder that we wonder what on earth we have done to deserve all this, why me. Flip the coin, why not me. I have seen worse, much worse and I recognise your struggle too.
Brian thanks for the kind thoughts, I hope you get some relief soon.

Default Just noticed you are in Ireland

Hi Waterwillow,
I just noticed you are in Ireland. I was wondering why your neurologist was not sending you to a neuropsychologist. Let me know what happens on the 25th. I hope you can find some solutions to make you more comfortable. I have my second session of Neuropsychological testing tomorrow (Monday) so I will let you know what I find out. I also go back to my doctor on Thursday to see what he makes of the problems that showed up on the MRI. Will let you know on that one too. Has your neurologist checked you for Parkinson's disease or done any neurological testing on you? Like had you remember a list of words, do puzzles, draw things?
Hope you are feeling ok today. Keep in touch.
