Angry Back and leg pain

I have had back and leg pain for 10 years now been through all kinds of therapies and one doctor prescribed lyrical and another prescribed nortriptyline I have started the nortriptyline and it has taken the pain down some but still not sleeping any better at night because of the burning sensation I have in my hips can I take both of these medications or not.

Hi mcanaman,

Welcome to the NeuroTalk Support Groups.

I'm sorry you're in so much pain and having difficulty sleeping.

My suggestion really regarding taking the Lyrica and the Nortriptyline together is that you could perhaps phone your doctor's office or your pharmacist and ask them about that. There are also drug/drug interaction checkers online, but if in doubt it's best to phone the pharmacist who knows you.

There are several other forums here where you may find info and support for your pain issues.
