Yikes ~ Our friend uses a CPAP and actually says his quality of sleep is better. Hope you get the hang of it and USE it regularly. That's an order...:)

Use the CPAP Twink!!! P-l-e-a-s-e? :smileypray:

How would we manage without your wacky SOH if you stopped breathing for good?? Huh?

Well, we just wouldn't!.................http://i265.photobucket.com/albums/i...ilies/NO11.gif..................So please use the CPAP!

Rochelle!! Your title scared the carp out of me!! Keep on breathin' lady, we need you around here! :) Heck, I'm hoping that you make another trip to FL so we can try to meet again. Take that darn machine with you when you're traveling too!

froglady 04-23-2008 11:24 PM

Goodness, put that machine on and be safe. Don't want your toes to curl up! Many hugs, froggie:)

You sure know how to wake a girl up! First thread I saw this morning & you had me worried! No wonder you feel tired. I've never used a CPAP, but know several people who do. It's made a world of difference for them, but not one says they like using it..
Take care of yourself Rochelle! You can see from everyone's replies that you're a Very Important Person around here!

Wow Twink, This hasn't been your year!! One adventure after another! Put that c-pap on and start feeling better. How"s the ankle? Do you have the newer version of c-pap? Take care of yourself, so you can twinkle on.:D

Thanks everyone. You can be proud of me: I did battle with the miserable machine last night. Didn't get much sleep, but I wore the derned thing!

And no, I don't feel better. But it might be b/c I'm dealing with allergies.

I'll check in again when I get back Sat. Thanks for caring! :circlelove:

Twink, if you have used a CPAP before you know it can take weeks before you notice a difference and even longer for the full affects depending on how long this has been going on.

Allergies: make sure your using your allergy meds and if you don't already use a nasal spray then talk to your PCP about getting one.

i see you are posting elsewhere are ya feeling better?

Twinkletoes 04-26-2008 10:17 PM

Yep, Thanks Frank!

Thanks, Snoopy, for reminding me that it could take awhile b4 I feel totally better.

But yes, I AM sleeping with the dreaded CPAP. Oh, and DH too!

Anyone have sugggestions for minimizing the lines the mask leaves? (Using one that covers mouth & nose).
