I'm going through Sleep Apnea and a TBI. I take Ambien (not extended version) and I have a CPAP with nasal mask (I didn't like the face mask). Because of the TBI I also take Aricept 10mg now at night.
I notice I ENJOY sleeping more and dream more when I turn off the lights of the TV and lower the sound. I need some noise, but the lights affect my sleep. I dream well with this done. Problem is, I cannot sleep without the TV at the start, so I do get up later after going to bed to turn the screen off. I have been tested many times, and its the same, and they gave me the CPAP machine, but just the machine without the TV off, I get terrible rest. I also fall asleep during the day, narc somethingorother, but I take Provigul for that. So, my advice, during your sleep, get room dark, low sound, and try to get to your dreams. That is my goal. I may not have great sleep but I will have great dreams. |
