Welcome to NT Meowrie!

We have injuries in common. Are you a car accident survivor like me?

If you were in an accident PTSD is a near certainty. I used to have waking moments where I was back in my pickup with that stupid drunk driver coming right at me. Luckily, PTSD is one of the things a psychologist can actually help you with. Are you seeing anyone?

As for dreams, between heavy drugs and low brain activity, I didn't have any for over a year after my crash. What sleep I got was like a black coma. Now I do dream, but they tend to be unpleasant, short, wierd and centred on pain.

Sleep disruption after TBI is common. Head injured folks have difficulty getting into REM sleep. That leaves us in that light twilight sleep where one is more likely to recall dreams. If you're like me, you wake often, very early and unrefreshed. Are you on anything to help you sleep?

Cheers
