Wink Quality rem sleep

Without going all technical the importance of good undesturbed REM Sleep is vital. I mentioned in another post that I have REM Sleep Behaviour Disorder and my body does not switch off and dreams are to various extents acted out. This can be linked to other neurological disorders/diseases so as DJ says in his reply, chase the medical staff up if you are not getting a sizable relief from CPAP use.

I was fortunate that the staff doing my sleep studies were also used to do EEG on many psychiatric and neuro patients also. It was they that spotted the abnormal readings in REM.

I have not resorted to sleeping tablets as I think I would no doubt become more exhausted during the day and they are addictive.

ASK ASK ASK

Good Luck

Default Quality Quality Quality

Without any doubt in my mind it is not how long we sleep but the quality of sleep we attain during "sleep"

I can sleep 12-14 hours a night and still crawl out of bed in the morning looking like I had been on the night shift.

Sleep affects EVERY PART OF YOUR LIFE.

I cannot stress it strongly enough as it is an issue that is slowly destroying me.
