That's wonderful Kimmy. Yesterday a gal came into Curves wearing a tee shirt that said Grandma to be...When she opened that Christmas present, that's how she found out that her daughter in law was pregnant. She was just beaming and I know you are too.

Wow...that is so wonderful, and awesome.

There is nothing like a new life, to bring the awe and wonder back to us!

I am so glad you are enjoying this event this way.

It reminds me of an impending TV special on Jan 15th at midnight..on the
National Geographic Channel. You might be interested and want to watch this.
If it is anything like the other specials about animals..it will be fantastic!
I have seen ads for it on the Nat Geo channel, but a video is not on the
website for some reason. (perhaps for children and viewing control?)

I had my son late in life, so I was totally in the same frame of mind that you describe. It is miracle, plain and simple.

Mrs. D, I saw one of those on the Discovery Channel once and it just was unbelievable.

As it turns out, the egg is a very particular little thing and excepts only the most special visitor. :D

Jan. 15 at midnight? Guess I'll have to get the VCR warmed up. :)

correction...

regarding time for the show...

It was originally scheduled for 8pm that night Jan 14.

It is at 12am on the 15th, or midnight of the 14th however, you figure that
time out. And repeated during the week too.

I recorded the In the Womb Animals one..it was AMAZING! The text and narrator were both excellent as well.;)

Thank you so much everyone! I'll tell my daughter about the show, MrsD; thank you!!

My oldest called and they accepted their offer on the house. She's buying her first home. :)

I was interested why daughter hadn't had any morning sickness or even clues there yet. I looked at her and smiled and said, "Ah, six weeks. It's just that you haven't gotten there yet." ;) Of course she said, "MoOm!"

I have to remember that she's young but a full year older than I was and I was a good mother even though young. I never felt young though...I would say she feels much the same. ;)

Anyhow, thank you so much!!!

Attached is a pic at Christmas of me, hubby and little man with Santa. :)
