It's an easy trap to fall into. I'd most certainly go out and play if I could - maybe take off on my bike and ride with the wind. The smell of fresh air is SO SWEET. Heck, while I'm dreaming, make that a horse!

We can fall into any trap and do anything too much. Balance is the key! I have had to pull back from things before and get a better balance. Recognizing it is the first step.

Yes, agree about the balance comment. It's rough though when we're sore and have to be still. It's so easy to cope out and say well, if I can't go run and play then I'll just sit here for hours on the computer... not that sitting there for hours is bad in itself. I am a World of Warcraft player so I have done that. I just also try to make time to take the dogs out for a walk, even if it's just down to the corner and back instead of all the way around the block or sit out in the backyard and enjoy the sun and breeze.
Hope everyone gets a good balance today and enjoys themselves! Allison |

Personally, I'm weary of the current trend of naming every form of abuse as a pseudo-medical condition as if the abuser is somehow an innocent victim.
I will confess to internet dependence as I do use it a surprisingly high number of times per day to determine a thing or ascertain a point. To say I'm "addicted" is tantamount to saying that I can't control my desire/need for information. It's ludicrous. For me, the Wiki article will remain the joke it was intended. allimcd3: I take my laptop outdoors! Do I need an intervention???

AMN,
You need a GTG with the gang to snap you out of that. Make sure you bring the laptop so we can all post to each other while we chat in person, lol. And RW can bring those tiny fancy bottles too.

I like to think of myself as internet savvy rather than addicted.
Hey Cin, I love Wiz's idea!
