I'm coping with another snowstorm and I have to dig us out from the pile of drifting snow at my front door this morning. I just checked and our superintendent of schools says they are still open ...

Hmmmmm..... You know, depending on how you look at it, I could be either a really late night-owl or a really early early-bird. Hey! Maybe I could be both! Or would that be cheating?
Scrabble, my kids would just LOVE to get some of that snow you're shoveling around. 'Course, I'm sure you'd love to give it to them, huh? Heck, I'd settle for one of Alffe's frozen mud puddles. But I didn't know that early birds had their own strange language. Must be a bit like those Canadian night-owls... |

Well our temperature rose all night and I woke up to16 degrees! That's warmer than it's been all week.. We are looking forward to one of our daughters arriving with her family....I told her it's too cold to do much, we'd just eat and watch movies....she said it sounded good!
So I woke up with a racing mind....need to scrubb kitchen floor, dust, wash thow rugs.....make meringues...can't wait to see them!!!
