If you're in Houston:
Friday, Nov. 27, 6:03 p.m. (Duration: five minutes) Path: 11 degrees above NNW to 12 degrees above ESE Maximum elevation: 42 degrees Saturday, Nov. 28, 6:25 p.m. (Duration: five minutes) Path: 10 degrees above WNW to 11 degrees above SSE Maximum elevation: 33 degrees Monday, Nov. 30, 5:38 p.m. (Duration: two minutes) Path: 33 degrees above SSW to 11 degrees above SSE Maximum elevation: 33 degrees If Shuttle hasn't landed, it will appear shortly after ISS on the same path. If you're not in Houston, find out when you can see it here: http://spaceflight.nasa.gov/realdata/sightings/ Shuttle first pass at landing is Friday morning ~ 0845 CST. Tom |

De-orbit burn meeting in about an hour (0430 CST). Should land 0848 CST at Kennedy if weather, which looks good, cooperates. If anything changes, I'll post here after the meeting. I'll probably be the only car on the road this early (with the other NASA folks).

Thanks for the link - I know you posted it before, but somehow I lost it.
It's a j-o-b and it probably has its stresses, but you do have one of the coolest j-o-bs, ever. I got chills just driving past the launch pad at Kennedy. Next time I get to Florida, I have to do the tour

cool ... hopefully I'll still be able to see the Shuttle around 6p tonight - over Madison, Wisconsin ...
