My Dh is working in Sanford. He was telling me how, driving to work, he saw so many people standing outside, just looking up at the sky. He stood outside the door at work when the guy on the next shift came in, looking at him like he was nuts. Dh was not wearing a coat, just a long sleeve shirt, lol.

Just think... your LOW is my HIGH.

Right now, 14 with a windchill that makes it feel like 3 degrees. High of 25 today. And I have at least a month of this to go. It'll be April at least before I see 70 outside again - heck, it may be april before it's that warm inside.

Remember last year, when the Dec snow did not melt until mid jan?

we had enough ice on the plant covers to build a tiny one too yesterday

my son just left for the morning service at church and we had to scrape ice off the car and warm it for almost 10 min bf he could drive...we dont like to leave my ailing hubby alone so I will be going in this evening...with temps forecast to drop into the 20s again

"they" are saying we should be up to low 60s by day and 50s by night by Thursday...still below average for our area but sure sounds better than 40s by day and 20s by night we have been having

our family had been griping for some time about the Florida heat, storms etc and saying how we would like to move up north but oy! after a just a few weeks of this chill I dont think I could handle the loooong cold winter. My oldest son lives in New England and has adapted well.

lol I saw someone in shorts yesterday and commented that they must be freezing and they said "nah! I am from Michigan" which I guess says it all
