That and because they are letting so many people in that cannot sing. It seems to us, the focus is mainly on ratings, which is expected. But last night it was very obvious some got through for ratings. While it's funny and cute, we prefer to watch real talent. We could tell Simon was frustrated and has made comments in the past about this very thing and feels the show has lost it's purpose which is to find real talent.

But then again, I wonder how many ratings they would get if they didn't let those funny and less talented into the show? :p

We've been watching since the first run and maybe we're bored.

I really liked it - good singers, dancers , comedy - they had gone thru a screening process already , we didn't have to endure that "bad" part of it.

Well, I just have one thing to say about the Atlanta Idol auditions........"pants on the ground, pants on the ground, lookin' like a fool with your pants on the ground"! :cool: :o
