Default Could it be true? A possible grandbaby?

Just saw DS29 at the grocery store...told me his DW isn't feeling so hot...like maybe she's ....hmmmm...
Funny thing, until he said she's possibly prego, I wasn't that keen on grandbabies...but I was so elated at the possiblity...
could I really be ready for grandkids?

Shhhh...it's a secret until they're sure...she's had a couple of false alarms before...

Ooohhhh! I hope it's true for you!

What's the baby going to call you?

Nana Debbie?

Nana?

Mamaw?

Granny?

Grandma?

Oh the possibilities! LOL

Okay you,
that's the part I'm not too excited about.
Can't he/she just call me GD... Oh wait, that's short for a swear...LOL.
I'll figure it out when the time comes

Thumbs Up

I hope it's true Debbie! And if so, I'm very happy for you (and a bit envious too. )

Good luck! I have one DGD, light of my life, the lil monster.

I know, to some being called one of the Grandma names makes them feel old. Not me. It feels old to think about having a grandchild, but I feel like a little kid when I am playing with her. I get to watch all the little kid movies, eat candy, enjoy all the toys again.

I asked to be called Granny. One of my favorite people was called that - my friend's and ex-sil's grandmother.

There is nothing like having some little person who adores you come screaming into your house, arms open for a hug yelling "GRANNY!!!!"

My SIL still doesn't call me anything... I'm waiting for him to use the "hey you" that Ray Ramone used on the show for his MIL...
Do you let the kids decide what you'll be called, or do you?
BTW still no news...

Ooooooo, I'm so jealous!! But in a good way!

I guess I'd better wait till my two are married before praying for a grandchild. I would love nothing more than a little grandbaby to spoil.

I called my grandmother Mimi. My sister and BIL had their children call my parents Granny and Gramps. I'd like to think I don't really look like a "Granny" yet. By the time I get grandchildren I probably will!

I can wait. I have too many depending on me right now. Plus, like Kitty, mine aren't married either. lol

I like Mimi.
