DDs and I went to see my dad this afternoon. He looked so much better and was acting more himself than yesterday. We had many good laughs today with him. Poor guy had to hold is ostomy site because we had him laughing so hard. He is still in ICU as the hospital is full and they don't have room for him on the floor. He needs to meet some criteria before they will let him go home and he is not quite there yet.

Hoping for a good day tomorrow as well.

Great news! My dad is going home today. I don't know all the details but I am guessing he has been able to keep his pulse down. That is a good thing as this means repair to the nerve and heart is happening.

Again, thank you for all of your prayers. :hug::hug: He still has a long road ahead of him with his chemo and now rehab for his heart but things are looking far better than they did a few days ago.
