It sho if quiet since the Blue Angels flew home...got a nice cool breeze blowin this ole swing around. Yep, its the best therapy I know, just sittin and swaying, not botherin bout nuthin but the stars up above and the cool wind on yer face. Shhhhhh, just sit and listen, hear that...that's nature singing.
The crickets start singing with their chirp, soon the bull frogs join in and if you listen carefully...you can hear the bobwhite call.

Yep, it's nice the Onion Festival comes during season, it helps out our small lil ole place on the map. The carnival is alive with screams, laughter and bright lights from the rides. The art/craft show is festive with folks peddling their handy work and the smell of good food wafts by with a tempting finger. : If you love onions, this would be the place...onion casserole, fried onions, grilled onions...onions all around.lol As you walk around, you see folks you ain't seen in ages discussing foolery we did as kids, some of us still do. lol

Then after you get all tuckered out it's nice to come on home and just sit in the swing. sunchair: Take a deep breath, smell that air, ain't that sent of honeysuckle and jasmine nice. If you just focus on the night, you can smell the pines mixed with fragrant flowers like roses. Just relax, put yer head back and look up at the night sky, see those stars winking at you...they know...ain't nuthin like a swing swaying by a nice cool breeze. We'll worry about all those other troubles come daylight, fer now, this is all we gonna worry bout.

Beware of that ole rapscallion JMiller now, he'll be trying to blow up the porch or bribe a Blue Angel to drop a bomb on us.lol If you're wondering who comes up on this ole porch, that's a easy answer...anybody that wants to sit a spell.
Momma don't turn nobody away, and nobody leaves hungry...don't care what no white coated stethascope caring head of hair tells me. Plenty of food, hugs, and family friends all in one place.
