Hey all!

Im off to make Tday turkeys with the second graders then a special
movie night at school...no school tomorrow.

My dd11 is attending her first middle school dance. It is interesting..
its held from dismissal time to 5 pm. I guess that way they cant go
get in trouble and show up at the dance....probably a good idea.

Tomorrow we have the parade and then my kids are going with
friends to the animal shelter...her daughter collected donations instead
of receiving birthday presents! We have a bunch of blankets and towels
I will send along...purging, I love it!

we're having a heat wave ...

so far, it's 48 and going up into the low 60s ... and USUALLY the high for the whole day would barely make it up to 45 degrees!!

I think I endured a 'flair' ... because ... guess what? I'm doing good and not walking like the hunchback!! and feeling good!

hey - is anyone's new show: NATE?? OMG ... is he good eye-candy to watch (great smile) ... and great money-saving, yet trendy, furniture and clothing styles ...

been painting boards outside ... probably why I feel better!!

hope everyone is having a great day ... off to Rhinelander to Walgreens for my monthly refill ... I'm glad that copax is working for me!! AND I was listening to the CEO of TEVA on MadMoney the other night - and he said that there will be an oral tab to go 'with' the shots .. so we're not having to shoot everyday!! should be out next year!! pretty awesome!!

It's going to be warm here today, too. 74 degrees I think they said. C'mon....it's November! It's time for chilly temps!

I've picked out some new recipes to make for our Thanksgiving dinner this year. They all sound so yummy. I'm sure I'll gain five or six pounds over this holiday season!

Good morning all

Had a strange and icky weekend, but seem to be doing better. Not sure if the infection is getting knocked back , pain is sometimes better, sometimes worse. Got two more days left for the meds. So if not uber better by Monday, it's a call to the dentist to let him know. It's between two teeth and in the gums, which is making this so much fun since it's somethiing he can't really get at.

But on plus side, going out to lunch with a friend of mine today. Haven't talked to her for awhile so should be fun.

What a beautiful day (72 degrees and sunny)! I just got home and need to grade,but not feeling too inspired. I have a 6 month appointment with my neuro tomorrow.

Finn -- hope the meds work and your infection is cleared up. Have a good lunch! I go to the dentist on Friday to have two temporary crowns removed and a permanent bridge put in.

Hey to everyone!

That's going around at my house too!

I've been experiencing a lot more fatigue and muscle spasms. I tried taking Baclofen... It relaxes stuff too much plus makes me sleep nearly 20 hours a day. Now I have insomnia because of yesterday.

I grew up in a small town and keep up with local news via their online version of the local newspaper. Read the news (good), then made the mistake of reading the obits. Saw 5...yes 5...familiar names there. Two close to my age that I went to school with, 2 older relatives that nobody called to tell me about and 1 teacher from my school days. SO that kind of left my day in a funk also.

Then I realized while talking to my mom yesterday, that we may be looking at dealing with Alzheimers or just dementia. She has changed so much in the last 2 months. It's hard to have a conversation with her and not hear the same story 4 or more times in an hour. I don't know if I am ready to face this. Her husband and his family are not helping matters. One of my brother's has hit mid-life crisis and is not helping at all. The other brother has a plate of his own hot-mess to deal with. I live over 300 miles away, but am about ready to go kick some sense into these folks.

So my mind and body are not reacting in a nice way to this added stress. Bright spot in all this: We have a brand new great nephew born yesterday.

Its going around at my house too. I just dont wanna! dont wanna clean, dont wanna cook, dont wanna go out, but dont wanna stay in. I need a nap.

Sounds as if we're all in the pre-winter blues Added to that an uptick in sxs, and I'm just in the mood to stay in bed.
my kitchen/fam. room are all covered in plastic waiting for the floor guy to come...DH covered his nice new cabinets so they wouldn't get too dusty...I'm about to take furbaby over to DS35's for the weekend so the floor can dry. We're limited to the upstairs, so it is better for him to be there, although he hates DS's two doggies and cat...

Good Morning! I'm so glad to see some of us back! I know the feeling that's going around. Just don't have much to say and don't want to expend the energy to say it.

It's supposed to be very warm gain here today. I'm ready for chilly weather to get here and stay! I know ya'll think I'm crazy but I'm tired of having to turn on my A/C in the afternoon! Heat at night, A/C in the afternoon. Sorta like having MS....you just never know what to expect!
