Default coffee makers

I have a tassimo and love it, but the discs for it are hard to find. I am considering a keurig style maker because the cups are so easy to come by. I also understand you can use your own coffee, or stick a tea bag in the Kcup and use your own stuff. Also hot water can be gotten by just closing the lid and not using a cup.

My question is what model do I get? I dont need a timer function to wake me, so no need to waste money on that. I would like to choose my cup size, and want more than a single serving of water in the machine.

Do any of you have this machine? what can you tell me?
