Confused help!

im recently diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia. im almost positive i will have MVD surgery as soon as possible, and my consult for it is in a couple weeks. ive had surgery before, and i know its the best treatment option for me right now, even though its also the scariest.
the worst of it all is how depressed ive felt lately. its like everytime someone isn't talking to me, or everytime my thoughts are allowed to wander on their own, they drift to everything that i am now having to deal with and i am overwhelmed with emotion.
im tired all the time (which is most likely a med-side affect) and i have absolutely zero drive to do anything that involves exerting mental or physical energy.
anyone that has gone through or is going through anything like this please talk to me. my family and friends try to help, but not actually facing what i am facing is making things difficult.

Default Hi Awesome!

I have never been through the same condition as you, but the psychological and emotional feelings you describe are certainly not strangers to me. I would be more that happy to talk about it, or anything else, all you want. You can post on the depression forum, or feel free to send me as many PMs as you like. I check them often. I also have Yahoo Messenger, which is very good for one-on-one chatting. Unfortunately, my computer doesn't work too well on the chat-boards we have here.

I hope that you start feeling better, and everything to do with your condition turns out as well as possible!
