Default QE 2 and Queen Mary 2 - Sydney Harbour

For the first time in my life I wished I lived in Sydney yesterday to see this amazing spectacle...

11 pics from "The Courier Mail".
Enjoy

Oh wow, he would have had a ball last night in Sydney then. This might sound weird, but it was riveting television, so I really wish I could have seen it in real life. I couldn't stop watching them trying to manouver around. The Queen Mary 2 entered at sunrise yesterday morning, and the QE2 arrived later in the day, then the Queen Mary 2 left for Hong Kong at about 11pm after all the fireworks... it was like New Year there last night. My father actually went to war on the original Queen Mary and other troops went on the original Queen Elizabeth. Just amazing liners. As the pics come in from last night I'm sure there will be plenty more. p.s. Queen Mary 2 is approx. 23 stories tall and dwarfed the QE2.

He loves the QE2....and Sydney also. I have forgotten his itinerary...he is either on his way, or has already been to Figi. He is going to complete the round the world trip...does it in sections because he still works....so he flies to where ever it is at the time and cruises for 30 days. Nice work if you can get it!

I loved the 1941 picture....looks very different!

WOW! Bet he isn't on top...he always comes home with pictures to show us and I just raise H*** with him because "even when you're casual, you don't wear plaid with prints" LOL...he calls me the clothes police.

What fun to think about....Hmmmmmmmmm, the sun is shinning here today and it did get up to 41 degrees. compared to what it has been, I'll not complain!
