I got this one today and checked it out before opening the attachment - never did open the attachment because it is a virus spam email.
I could tell it wasn't a legit email from USPS because of the way it was worded , but I wanted to know if there was info online about this same type of message. There was. http://www.snopes.com/computer/virus/ups.asp subject- Delivery information contains at the postal label (me =) [Postal notification, Courier service couldn’t make the delivery of your parcel. Reason/The weight of parcel is exceed the available parameters for free delivery. LOCATION OF YOUR ITEM:Lexington STATUS OF YOUR PARCEL: not delivered SERVICE: Standard Shipping NUMBER OF YOUR ITEM:U314500427NU FEATURES: No Label is enclosed to the letter. Print your label and show it at the post office. Attention! If the parcel isn’t received within 30 working days our company will have the right to claim compensation from you for it's keeping in the amount of $3.34 for each day of keeping over limited time. You can find the information about the procedure and conditions of parcels keeping in the nearest office. Thank you for attention. USPS Logistics Services.] So if you get any odd messages like that just mark them as junk and/or delete them right away.

I am getting a fake YouTube message, over and over.
It has very little text, so therefore no errors as hints. It thanks me for joining and invites me to my profile page, with a link. These are spam too, and started in 2011 from what I read online about them.

Please make sure that you get in touch with your Local Main Post Office and tell them about it. They can contact the Postal Inspectors and or OIG and they will be able to investigate it. It is asking for money. I work for the Postal Service. I will also contact my Postal Inspectors here in my town about it. Thanks Str |

I get them plus I got plenty of UPS fake emails until I forwarded them to UPS. They thanked me for sending every one I got to them but recently they quit.

I have gotten this one a few times - the first time I was in a hurry and didn't fully read it and opened it and got a spyware virus - I had to run my Virus software and clean my computer.
