Lightbulb Smile.Amazon

Amazon has a special feature now. If you type in Smile.Amazon
into your search engine, it will bring it up.

Amazon has registered charities now, and you can choose one that you like, and 0.5% of your purchase will be donated to that charity.

If you know of a registered charity in your area, in the US, you can notify them, and have them sign up with Amazon.

I am using this feature to donate to an animal/pet rescue where we live in the summer. This is the place where we adopted our new kitten Maya in summer of 2012.

We happen to use Amazon quite a bit, so this is very nice IMO and will only really work well if people know about it and can
get together and pool their shopping. I also have Ebates, but Amazon rarely appears there, and when it does, it is always for
upscale items, which we rarely buy. So we decided to use the Smile.Amazon feature instead.

You must be logged into Smile.Amazon when you purchase...don't forget like I did, and almost finished a sale...and had to back out! LOL And do it all over again!
