Default Myers-Briggs test

Why is this test so important? A job I wanted to apply for requires me to take this test. I wanted to find out about it first because I want to know if the results of this test would have any bearing on my application. Thanks.

Myers Briggs test is a personality test. If they need you to take this test prior to considering you for employment I would assume that they need a certain type of person to fill the job.
