Default Favourite sports teams?

I know most of us cant play sports anymore, but is there a sports team that you follow. Whats the story behind why you support who you do?

Me, I am an avid Aston Villa FC fan. Used to be a season ticket holder & also would watch the reserves & youth team... Im a little detracted from it all at the moment but hoping to get the passion back thst I once had for my boyhood local football club. (Thats soccer to the Americans)

I also love NFL. The trips to Wembley were always a big thing in my office as we had a private box & as we are all mates, we basically had a great time just winding each other up... I miss my old office... We all do NFL Fantasy. Great little game. Im still waiting for a couple of trades to happen which will make me a contender again. Getting in a couple of decent WR's by trading extra QB's, & can then just grab defensive players on a weekly basis... Im 0/2 after this round of games... I dont support an NFL team, but I do have a soft spot for thr New Orleans Saints... Dont know why, but I like to see them do well...

Sport in general is ace. Even things like snooker, pool, darts, bowling, etc are great to watch...

Football (Soccer to you), NFL & College Football are my favourites...

NY Jets are my football team. Propriety and not wanting to get kicked off the board will keep me from commenting on their performance today.
Have no idea what Snooker is.

Ouch... Smith not clearing 200 passing yards is pretty poor & Im surprised he didnt get more rushing yards considering his pace...

He should improve over time, & with a 57% pass completion for a 23 year old, there is plenty of improvement. I love these all round QB's though... Being able to drop off into the pocket & then set off on a run... Must be a nightmare for the defensive players when you cover the runners & then the QB just takes advantage of the space left. Exciting time to be an American Football fan though...

Not a fan of the Packers, so you have my sympathy...

Snooker is very relaxing. If you can find some coverage, then I highly recommend watching a few frames. I love it as a sport, as I do all sports, but I find it extremely theraputic. The YouTube video link is of a player called "Rocket" Ronnie O'Sullivan. The frame he is playing is in the final of a major tournament & 147 is the highest amount of points that can be scored in a frame on whats called their 'break'. I watched that session live & it was fantastic stuff.

Babe Ruth hit 3 home runs for a sick kid. You couldn't give me one measly (and unusual for the jets) win
