They are on the new ad for Belsomra. They look and act like cats but are actually words, Awake and Sleep. They are so cute I'd buy them if they decide to market them. Sorry, I don't have a picture of them.

My husband and I really like this commercial. I bet it wins an award eventually. It is clever, novel, and fun. No one is going to pay attention though to the DRUG, as all eyes are glued to the animations.

A long time ago when HBO was new, they had a commercial with Jane Goodall in it.

So back to my story now that you have watched it.

I am at our local mall, and a woman approaches me and asks if she gives me a free lunch coupon for a popular restaurant at the mall would I help with some consumer questions about TV.
So I was not in any hurry and accompanied her to an office.
She began to ask me lots of questions...and it was about this commercial. Have I seen it? Did I like it? What did I like, etc.
Do I know who Goodall is? Do I have HBO.. on and on.
The last question was "Do you remember the slogan at the end?"
Well, I did not. We laughed and she asked why? I said there were chimps talking at the end. (Back then talking animals were not common and CGI was relatively new). So she gave me my free lunch and I left, thinking....this was interesting.

Well, guess what? That commercial ran quite a bit in our area and all of sudden, the ending changed. The chimps were dropped and only the slogan remained. She had told me that the thrust of the commercial was the SLOGAN, and I told her the commercial was so captivating, that I only paid attention to the chimps.

This commercial for the sleep drug (what was it again? LOL) has that potential I think.

Her sleep cat is being disturbed by her wake dog. That's what it says underneath the commercial. It's cute.

I think I saw a woman in the commercial, not sure.
I'll admit the animation had my full attention.

Yup, the woman is there a lot of the time. I do not take anything to sleep and I would not. But, I like the commercial. Did you listen for the side effects that are possible with anything you take for that matter.
