Hey, this thread is for those of us who have INSOMNIA!! We are up while everyone else is sleeping. Just talk about whatever has you up or anything else on your mind.

It's Christmas morning or it will be in a few hours. I made contact with 4 people yesterday. One a neighbor who helps me once in a while, one my very best friend who just got a new job and is busy with her family and two people I've known for most of my life and haven't talked with in years. I really made an effort to connect with them. I got a new phone number and they didn't have it. They both seemed genuinely happy to hear from me.

I tend to isolate myself from the world. Mainly because I have been hurt a lot in the past and don't want to be hurt again.

That's about it for tonight. I made my cup of tea and will go back to bed soon but first I'd love to hear a song I heard for the first time a few days ago, it reminded me of times gone by...

I made contact with a gf in Pgh and had a nice long conversation. She and I think so much alike re: healing. She says MOST of her friends think other than she and I. It's refreshing to connect with her and I know she so appreciates hearing from me.

Called another friend here who is going thru chemo but we did not connect.

I've had my share of hurts in life but worked to get past those hurts....no one else is worth closing myself down due to their actions.

Thanks goodness I SLEEP.....and dream. Wish you could too... C

Been up on and off all night. Know how you feel Wiix. Sleep a few hours , up a few hours. Fall asleep to the glow of the tv . Take care Jim
