I thought I had posted about the 2015, but guess not.
Well, the winners ran past my apt about 8:30AM while I laid in bed doing my stretches and listening to NPR news. The stragglers and hobblers and those falling down will still be running to about 3PM or so. I know the beat, but I don't go out to watch them anymore. I can't imagine doing this damage to bodies, I did enough and I was not a runner and now I do my best to keep walking as best I can. It was supposed to be really hot, but the fog rolled in so probably not the heat sickness they talked could happen. http://ktla.com/2016/02/14/weldon-ki...eles-marathon/ |
