Hi Caroline,
Interesting topic! I have found much more freedom in aging, too. We tend to know ourselves better, tend to have more insight into ourselves, into others and into the world, which helps us to enjoy the freedom of simple daily event in our lives. We are not as concerned with what others think of us. What others think won't change our own decisions for ourselves. It's very freeing! We often gain self-knowledge and confidence with age as well. My feathers are not easily ruffled anymore. Lol! Oh, to know what I know now and to be 28 again, LoL! Not sure why 28 y.o. It just feels right. Thanks for starting this topic! Warmly, DejaVu
