Oh, I LOVE it!!!! I just totally LOVE it!!!!!
thank you sooo much -- and it came at just the most perfect moment... Remember my brief, that's been causing me so much stress? Well, yesterday I got a thing from the appeals court saying that they struck my brief. That's like wiping it out and off the record. This was done, they said, in response to a motion from the lawyer for the man who got all my equity... Well, I still have not received the motion and it's nearly ten days since it should have been mailed. I think/believe that they didn't really mail it to me, the way they said they mailed things during the foreclosure, but didn't. HOWEVER... I just saw that the plaintiff never served anyone its Amended Complaint except in violation of the automatic stay... so I think that means there wasn't jurisdiction over any defendant but me, and they had to have the others before the court. I suppose they can slime out of this, as they have so many things before... but ... maybe there will be a bit of ethics. Maybe. I just put my Motion for the other motion to be mailed to me and "noting lack of jurisdiction" into a bag for the lady who brings my dinner to mail for me... and I came back to my computer... and your so LOVELY message arrived and I went and saw the ewe and LOVED it. thank you soooo much. Please will you send a few positive thoughts this way???? (((((((((((((((Barbara)))))))))))))) .

((((((Karen)))))),
I hope you get some justice out of this and I hope you kick a few in the process. I remember when I was divorcing my husband back when I roamed the planet with the dinosaurs, my entire file in the court kept disappearing. He had relatives and friends that worked in the court systems. I finally learned that I had to go in a few days before a hearing and request the record so that they would find it and put it into the filing box so it would be 'findable' when the hearing came. It sounds like there might be some hanky-panky going on in your case too. It's inexcusable that letters aren't being mailed and notices aren't being sent out and people that should be summonsed aren't. We have some things in Massachusetts -- ombudsman, sort of. A spotlight team in the newspaper. Some on the TV stations. And one woman who's usually able get refunds from 'stubborn' people. Do you have anything like that where you are?? Someone with the TV news or the newspaper news that tracks down 'inequities' in governments and courts?? You sound like you're very smart relative to court proceedings. It's just unconscionable that they keep blowing you off like this When you know you're right, you've gotta keep fighting. Sometimes the jerks lose their jobs or move onto their just 'rewards' and someone with the morals that his Momma taught him will take his place. I'm going to be visualizing VERY STRONGLY you kicking some major *****!! BIG HUGS (and love and luck). Barb |

Oh Barbara, thank you so much.
Yes, isn't that just ... what words are there for it, that court employees act in such a prejudiced way? (I love the pictures of the long eared braying animals! too funny!) I think it would be hard for anyone without any experience to have any idea of what goes on, and how lacking in justice the "justice" system can be. I'm surprised we didn't meet when we were both roaming the planet with the dinosaurs... I'm VERY glad we've met now!!!!!! I'm going to stick with it... assuming I stay calm and don't get sick from the stress again. Stress is just sooooo bad. (((((((((((Barbara)))))))))) and, I am forever grateful to you for the red balls post about rest. (((((((((((Barbara))))))))))) thank you for making my afternoon, yet again!!!!!! Now I'm going to go look at those little long eared animals again, and smile some more.
