Thumbs up Farah Fawcett Story

Did anyone else see the Farah Fawcett Story last night? I found it to be eye opening and informative. It was great!

I saw it. It was an interesting and empowering documentary. She was so brave to tell her story.

I just love her and how she documented her journey. I was so touched when her son came in to say goodbye thanks to the judge. What in the world possessed that boy to get put in jail when his momma was sick and on her last days? I felt so bad for him and for Farrah. Ryan was right when he told her son this is his time to get well for his mom.

I didn't watch but hope it will be rerun this summer when hopefully, I'll be less busy. I like Farrah and I'm glad she did this, it should help lots of people going through the same thing.

I'm mad at myself, I fell asleep before it ended. About an hour ago, a report came across the wire that she went into the hospital this morning. The speculation is that the end is near.

Her last legacy is the one for which I will most remember her, it took a mountain of courage and determination to create that documentary. No one can deny that.

I did see it. I love how she showed the tabloid stories, and then corrected it with the truthful version of what happened. Way to go! Its amazing how many hands touch your medical records, and its impossible to know and trust each one of those hands. That is how quickly hollywood records hit the street. Then with only part of the story, gets bent way out of control. Her son was in jail for drugs. Drug addicts dont always have good judgement. It must just rip her in half to know he isnt there.

I agree, she was very brave, and showed great courage through the whole thing. I still cant believe they let her fly home from germany after such a large proceedure. Holy cow! isnt that malpractice? She could have had a large bleed from the increased pressure of the cabin of the plane. AS it was she needed morphine to make it home.

I am so happy she is bringing to light a very scary rarely talked about disease.

At first I didn't want to watch it, but once I started, I couldn't take my eyes away. She thought she would survive, so wanted to document her journey. It was riveting!

I read on Yahoo that it is going to be rebroadcast this Sun night. So, those of you who missed it can watch.

Default Farah Fawcett Story

She is such an amazing woman. I have known for like a week that her story would be coming on, but I didn't think when it did I would have time to watch it. Sure enough I had time alright, since I am in the hospital right now fighting something, pretty bad. I was glad she did that documentary it gave me hope. I especially liked how they filmed her journey she had in Germany. I have flown to Germany twice for medical treatments for the illnesses I have over the last 4 years. I was suppose to go back for 3 weeks last year, to a clinic there, but a family tragedy happened, and I couldn't go back over.
