Well, today was very funny.
We adore his nurse who administers the IVIG each month. I make a plate of my muffins, and when Alan falls asleep because of the Benedryl, she and I just sit there and speak French, (this is after she has done all her paperwork), etc. So she is supposed to come at 1 p.m. and all of a sudden at around 1 p.m. it starts to pour outside like a torrential rain. I said to myself. "Uh oh, even with an umbrella, unless she is dressed like a fisherman on a boat, she's going to be soaking wet". Well, she turns the corner and the poor thing looked like a drowned rat. I got a big towel, she dried off and I said to myself "she can't sit in soaking clothes and do an IVIG on Alan". So I got some clean clothes from my drawer, which consisted of a pair of spandex shorts and a nice black and silver shirt and in two seconds she had a new outfit on. We had a good laugh. She just left thanking me again (in french) and told me she would return the clothes next month. I have never had someone else leave my house wearing my clothes. This is the funniest thing I ever saw. I am so happy that Alan has such a fine nurse to take care of his IVIG. AND SHE LOVES MY MUFFINS!!!! Mel
