omg i am such a dork sandy, sorry i posted all this on moms thread i thought i was here, i went back and deleted it soon as i realized the dork move
follows is what i posted and wanted posted here

i hope everyone has a good day, if I may pose two question, lets just say food for thought

A. Does anyone else wake up wondering what day it is?

B. If i may inquire, what does everyone suffer from, sorry not to be nosey , I have MS, was just curious.

I know what a few of you suffer from and am sorry its bad form i have not looked at everyones profile, imagine your DX's are on there, in defense of this,

i will say when i deviate from the board threads and go into profiles or albums i get lost and get frustrated, i keep getting album comments and am not sure what to do

do i answer them on my site and will the person who sent it, be notified, or do i go to their profile and answer on their profile page, i am so confused lol

I know *exactly* what you mean, Frank !!

your Angel posted a comment on my profile, and I answered it, then... I wasn't sure if she'd see it, so I PM'd her.

how embarrassing if Deb gets TWO msgs about the same message, lol !!

but then again, she knows *you* so I guess she'll understand...

:D  :D

oh, and yesterday, I woke from an early nap in a total PANIC, not knowing what DAY it was, or if I had done my morning chores !!

I'm all: "Oh NO !! I forgot to FEED my babies !! OH NO !!"

I *jumped* out of bed, which is usually not advisable for those with 20 years of MS under their belts.

:cool::p:cool:

luckily, my honey was there to reassure me that everything was done, and to tell me what day and time it was.

You're right Deb.....things ARE smaller. I believe it's just the clothing manufacturer's attempt to save money and make larger profits.

Just like the food industry making packages smaller by several ounces without alerting consumers.

Isn't it funny how that size label means so much to us.....if I had to buy one or two sizes larger but they actually put a smaller size number in the label I would be happy!!!

yeah like sugar coming in a 4 lb pak instead of the normal 5 lb it use to come in, am waiting for them to do that to flour next

Hi everyone!

Sandy, That is great news about you mom. I am sure she will be happier if she feels independent. There are a few hotel chains that have sleep number beds. You and Jim could go try one out one night.:D I think Hyatt's may have them, but I am not sure.

Sarah, I just wanted to add that I am also sorry that you felt bad while shopping. I agree with everyone that said that sizes seem be be smaller now. But I actually read that they are 2 times larger; that is, a size 10 today use to be a size 14. It is just that everyone is bigger. I choose not to believe this. Some of those L t shirts look like they are for 4th graders.

Frank, I will sometimes forget what day it is when school is out, and I do not have to go into teach.

I went up to Champaign/Urbana today to do some shopping. I was trying to find a lamp shade to replace the one that was broken by my adorable niece five minutes after she got to my house. I could not find one, but did buy some new sheets at Target. They are bamboo and really soft. A friend recommended them. I also picked up alot (for me) of organic fruits and veg's at Meijer's. I had a Weight Watcher's 5 point meal at Applebees. I am not sure it was worth the 5 points. (tilapia (was ok); about 1/4 cup mushy rice pilaf (Yuck!!!), and plain broccoli (no seasoning).

howdy ... have the car all loaded tonight ... and my legs (thighs) feel 'thick'??? ... tight?? and very painful as I stand and walk ...

leaving in the morning .. still no news about the availability of the apartment yet ...

well, the miracle is still in the works ... it will be a good thing!! keep thinking good thoughts ... thanks!!

Frank.... we're supposed to know what day it is? Crap i'm in trouble then, I never know the day the date and half the time I get the year wrong. Is it my MS? Or am I just blissfully unaware? Too tired would be the answer today, spasms had me up all night!

hollym 06-24-2008 08:41 AM

Hi all. I'm tired. Grandma was having a bad day yesterday and I panicked and took her to the ER. She was very confused and really couldn't walk. It was such a quick dramatic change in her that I was afraid she was having a stroke. Tuurns out it was a bladder infection and she was very dehydrated. After some IV fluids, she perked up. We went home at 2 AM! Hopefully with the Cipro, she will be on her way back to her normal.

I have a question for all of you. Where in the heck do you find a long steve botton down shirt in June? My dd just got a job as a waitress & has to wear black shirt & pants & a colorfuf scarf. It's a nice Italian restaurant where she'll make good tips. We went to many places yesterday but couldn't find one.
