The fatigue and trying to figure out where my wall is going to be - that is the thing I have the most problem with. Doesn't help that the wall keeps moving!! :Bang-Head:

Frank, I'm with Renee on the feeling that it's the other person's problem if they stare. I still get embarressed on some days, but I keep on a truckin' no matter what. I stick my tongue out and try to have a good time anyways. :p

Good morning! I tried to get on here last night, but eventually gave up. Not much is going on here. I went to see a rather violent movie yesterday, "Wanted." I was hoping for more intrigue and less violence. I have to go; no I should say I am going to go to Weight Watchers in a few minutes for my second week weigh in.

Fin -- Glad you do not have an infection; hopefully you are just experiencing a temporary problem. I have been tested 3 times in the past years for a UTI and it was negative each time and each time my problem went away after a few weeks.

Vonn, Hope you are able to get into an apartment soon and then you can enjoy the ac.

Weave - Good luck at the garage sale. May, since DH is home, it can be a project that you can work on together.;) If not, forgoing the work and spending time with DH while he's home will be so worth it. Either way enjoy having him home with you.

(((Vonn))) - :hug::hug: I think you just described the "old" me. LOL. Now, I lucky to be able to hold 1 conversation, get 1 task done a day, read 1 book in 1 month, etc. LOL. It's hard and I think we all miss out "old" selves. I have been really working at reinventing myself, if that makes sense. I think once you get settled in your new place you will be able to relax some and start working on the projects that you have planned for yourself.

And, don't beat yourself up at all!!! Look how much you do do. You totally amaze me with everything that you do. You were preparing to move, working on a business plan, doing projects for other people, AND getting A's in your classes. That is incredible so pat yourself on the back. You are doing great.

Renee - LMAO! You crack me up. I don't like it when people point my deficits out. I so many times feel like say "No, duh" I didn't notice my hands trembling or that I just fell or banged in to the wall, etc.

I have to admit I was a little stubborn about using a cane until DDs told me that they really didn't want people to think I was drunk and/or people feeling sorry for them that their mom was a drunk. After they told me this, I use the cane. I have not needed it since March (unless I will be walking quite a bit). I keep it in my car at all times. My issue now is spasticity and the cane is not worth a darn with that.

Frank - Hang in there. We all have our little hang ups about having this disease.:hug:

new dilemma:

got a call last night from the manager from the place where I was waiting for the lady to pass - she did, on July 1 ... but, still won't be able to get into the room until the 15th ... or after the 19th (she, the manager .. will be on va-ca from the 14th -19th) ... haven't called her back yet.

about the apartment with a lake view ... the issue there is waiting to make sure I have internet access thru the cable provider ... they have the cable access now, but have to find out about the internet part - seeing that this is a 'disabled/senior' complex .. not a whole lot of peops wanting internet service ...

in the meantime - my doctor has been wonderful (yes *I* did write the letter) and she signed and faxed it ...

now .. still waiting ... and school starts (with the actual participation) on Sunday ...
