I bought a little digital voice recorder specifically to get my Dad's stories recorded. We talked and talked and I recorded over two dozen sessions of varying lengths -- a few precious hours of conversations about his childhood and how things were way back then.
I just pulled the recorder from my purse and there is absolutely nothing on it. Zip. Zero. Nada. It reads that I have 15+ hours of recording time left. It was totally full a couple of weeks ago. Totally. I probably had 5-6 hours of history on it. It's not the batteries. I found a "hold" switch that most likely would have protected the contents, but its obviously too late now. I am so sad and disheartened. I guess we'll start over. Signed, Technology Klutz
