Default Come on up on the porch...

Well, it sho nuff is nice to be on the porch today even ifn its a lil bit cold. That won't be a problem, I got lots of covers and quilts, plenty of hot drinks and pastries.

The porch is where all us that had to move from the ole neighborhood meet to just sit back and listen to a story or two. I sho been mighty tested this week...Lord knows he is tired of hearing from me. lol

Bout a year ago my father's wife bought a truck she couldn't make payments on...so my DH took over the payments. She decided she wanted the truck back, she came Sat and got it...her excuse was the payments needed to be mailed by the 5th. In her world...I needed to drive 60 miles to get them to her rather than her have the bills sent to us. Anyhoo he is now out over 4000.00 and his work truck...and I sho nuff was ready to strangle this woman and pour my bestest home made syrup on her and tie her to a post in fire ants.

I even asked the ole neighborhood to pray mighty hard cause like I said the good Lord was tired of hearing from me I asked forgiveness sooo much. I guess I have calmed down a bit now. Sometimes it is mighty hard to forgive when you know that person has stabbed you so bad ya look like a fountain when ya drink water, but all in all, its best if ya can forgive. If ya don't find a way to forgive and ya just keep being angry, it'll just eat at ya and there won't be a nickel's worth of peace fer ya. It ain't easy, nope not one bit...cause I know, she gonna want me to go to Alabama with her in Feb.

I just can't go...she did wrong and I have no trust where she is concerned...and I can't accept her mental condition as an excuse. I might could, if she had kept the truck...she gave it to her son, so that when her grandson turns 16 in a couple of months he will have a truck to drive.

Forgiveness ain't easy...but it still is forgiveness...you kids get that?

Now who wants what fer breakfast...and don't be worryin none bout where to sit...Always room on Momma's porch always has been!
