Hey, we have something in common. I was the 'new kid' in the 8th grade I'm excited about this place too....so much to see, so much to do....but what's better than being the new kid alone....is that there's many of us new kids together

I was always a new kid. I never had a lot of friends in school because I was always at a new one!
I just remember how cruel kids could be and how insignificant I would feel. I had an odd last name also so that gave the meanies fuel for their fire. Even to this day I wonder why people form cliques and are exclusionary. The one thing I learned from my experiences was to be inclusive. You expand your horizons, meet some wonderful people and learn to share. This does look like a great place; lots of extras for those of us who love the smilies! I hope this will be a happy home. Tootsie
