Thank you for making my day! I've always thought this was a gem of an idea and I'm so glad to suggest it when it really came in handy for you.

You can shred newspapers too and put them around your fragile stuff that way.

I imagine the shredded paper can compress down so use a lot of it.

Heres another idea.

You know those honey bear containers. Well, once the honey is used up, rinse them well with hot water to get the sticky out.

You can use them for little ones baths as bath toys (they can squirt each other with them). Or...you can fill them with baby shampoo or lotion.

They are cute and it's one more thing to keep out of the dump!

Yes, that's a good idea..thanks. That would likely be the ones with the pointy tips on them. I have a few that don't have that. I'll have to be more selective.:)

One clever idea I found for reusing milk jugs .... cut the bottoms out of the jug. Take the cap off.

When you are spraying for weeds and don't want the spray to get on nearby flowers or veggies, just place the jug over the 'bad' plant and put the nozzle of your sprayer in the open (cap) end. This will direct the chemical to the specific plant and leave the others alone.

A friend of a friend took her wedding gown and when she had babies made their Chistening gowns out of it and she made a small pillow with their birth info on it.

I thought that sounded like a nice idea.

Great ideas! Keep them coming :)

I have a few baby blankets and special clothes that I saved from each baby, I plan on making a big quilt out of them.
