Heres another one from me....lets keep this going and laugh.

My DS, who is now 41, was around 9 and wanted some walkie talkies, so we got him some, but they wore out from lots of use.

I was always one to let my children try to fix some things theirselves or find a way to get them fixed. I felt it was a good way to learn how to do things.

So, I told my son to get the yellow pages and call a few places to see if he could find someone who could fix walkie talkies.

I didn't think he'd have much luck, but I felt it would be a good learning experience about seeking a solution to a problem.

Not many places repair walkie talkies or at least not back then.

So DS gets going. He is not having much luck. Finally he comes running into the room all excited.:Excited:

He said 'I found someone mom. I'll have to call him back though. He hung up fast!'

I said 'what's his name? Do you have the number?' Yep, he'd written it down and spelled the name out the way it sounded.

He said his name was MR. Godmitnitio.:mfr_wha:
:confused:Huh? That's an odd name says I.

Then it hit me ...the man did not have that name at all....he'd said "God Almighty No'.
