Question Need help on a gift.

My moms 60th birthday is next week, I'm getting her a candy basket (yes I'm cheap, but remember my mom and I aren't the best of friends).
My ? is what "year" basket should I get, the 40's from when she was born, or the 50's from the years she was a kid?
