I work part time for a florist here in Boise during holidays. Today, there was an unfortunate accident involving a flower delivery truck bound for eastern Idaho from Boise.
It was loaded with roses. About $50,000 wholesale value of roses for Valentine's Day orders. We got about 50 calls about the disaster. We knew the florists in eastern Idaho who were the unfortunate recipients of the flamed roses. It was sad. The wholesaler was on the phone immediately calling his clients and making good on the lost orders and before the end of the day, a new shipment was already on its way to the florists. A faulty refrigeration unit was to blame for the torching of the roses in the truck.
