Now that it's over and I see that no one made any reference to it, I am going to...
Did you know the official name of February 29? Bissextile day. http://onlinedictionary.datasegment.com/word/bissextile There are other sites with other explanations of the origin of the word, but this one is the most concise. February 29, I was maid of honor in a wedding. They picked that day for many reasons, one being it was a Friday so they didn't have to take much time off work (she's a florist). We all had a great time and were amazed at the lack of numerous weddings on that day. Happy Bissextile day! ![]()
