I read about Becky's new washer & dryer so thought I'd mention our new toys. A Wirlpool refrigerator & a microwave.
The frig. does make a tiny bit of noise though, if you listen you might hear the ice cube when it lands in the holder in the freezer....it has an automatic ice cube maker. The microwave is a Sharp carousel. Has more watts than our old one so I gotta get used to that. I rewarmed some coffee for the same amount of time as I used to, but this time it was tooooo hot. |

I need a new kitchen,why I don't know can't cook..But the new look
would make people think I do. Those ice makers can get scary if your sitting alone in the middle of the night..Enjoy Sue PN |

I guess we really are grown up when new appliances bring us all this enjoyment! Have you made popcorn in your new microwave yet? That's what we use ours for mostly!

Kicker, I spelled carousel right. I wasn't sure so I looked on the microwave.
It's now 2 days after I 1st wrote. Yes, we made popcorn a few times. My son eats it all the time & last night my DH made some. Also, I don't know where the instuction booklet is & I don't know how to defrost my chicken. |

If you look up your microwave on the Sharp web site, you should be able to look at the booklet online.

I have a Maytag Washer and Dryer (do not recommend to anyone) - the front loading kind -. The Dryer is okay, but the washer is the loudest washer I can imagine. I thought a jet was taking off the first time I heard the spin cycle1
It also gets mildew and mold in the door gasket I have a KitchenAid Refrigerator and I hate it. The darn freezer baskets actually fall off the glides. Let me tell you when they do and they land on your foot that hurts!!! I did have a microwave with a carousel and I really liked it. I don't have that with this one (my microwave was in the house when we bought it). It's an okay microwave though. My best appliances have been by Kenmore. They lasted a long time and performed well.
