Default Can it be Easter already???

My goodness, it is going to be Easter on Sunday. I can't believe it.

Anyone have any special plans.

My DH is working the afternoon shift at the airport so I'm going to take Easter dinner there.

It will be a slow night unless there are a lot of short stop travelers. (Small airport).

I'm trying to decide what to fix. I think I might try a ham in my crockpot. That might be different.

I also saw a recipe for 'Pineapple dressing'. That might be a nice change from potatoes. Otherwise I'll do scalloped potatoes.

I think I'll do a fruit salad.

My sons are far away so no chance of them being here.

Holidays have really changed for me. It's inevitable I guess.

Diane

and... for the very first time, my DD-29's birthday falls on an Easter Sunday!

she just sent me this email:

hey, Mom,

my birthday falls on Easter this year... whoa, really early Easter.

apparently won't happen again 'til 2160.

"It is not the earliest Easter can be celebrated however - that is a day earlier on March 22, though the next time it will fall then will be in 2285.

The last time it was on March 22 was 1818."

oh, and apparently this is the algorithm for determining when Easter falls, though the article didn't define the variables:

((19*t+u-w-(u-(u+8)\25)+1)\3)+15)mod30)+(32+2*x+2*y-(19*t+u-w- (u-(u+8)\25)+1)\3)+15)mod30)-z)mod7)-7*(t+11*(19*t+u-w(u- (u+8)\25)+1)\3)+15)mod30)+22*(32+2*x+2*y-(19*t+u-w-(u- (u+8)\25)+1)\3)+15)mod30)-g)mod7)+114)\31

so, Happy Birthday going out to my DEAR DARLING DAUGHTER as well !!
