Thanks for your prayers and well wishes. Dad is doing alright.

He still talks like he just got out of the dentist's chair and his right side is a little compromised, but he's okay. He went to the grocery store by himself this afternoon, so that's a good sign.

Doc will most likely do a follow-up CT scan next week.

smiles at twink

your dad sounds like a lot like my dear gramps, worse thing u can do is tell them they cant do this, they will prove you wrong,

my gramps had a bad fall, my family were roofers and he broke both ankles, THE ER doc told him he would be lucky to walk ever again, at wihcih point ( god i miss him) he got up told me to get the truck and walked out, and we went to another ER

Glad your dad he is home and the effects seem to be a minimum, hows his recall ok? motor skills, my nana had 5 strokes so I know they can be scary nasty and depending on severity, a long recoop, again glad he is well and you are too

peace

Frank, your grandpa Rocks!!!! How in the world did he walk out of that ER with 2 broken legs?

Dad's recall is better than mine, Lol! He will turn 95 this August.

2 years ago I had him in the ER with prostate problems. Right after he admitted to the doc that his pain level was "10", I asked him my brothers' phone numbers so I could notify them. He didn't even hesitate!

Frank, didn't you say you wanted to be the director of this GWTW remake? I think you'd better get your casting done so we can get on with it!!!

We can't keep this people in limbo forever!!! Can we?
