When did Tornado Alley move to Virginia?
I'm so glad you're all OK (Greta, Renee,Mike..EVERYONE).

Glad you checked in Greta! I was throwing things around the kitchen looking for your number! My girlfriend drove straight into the one south of Richmond on her way back from PA, I called her and said "where are you!" Sitting on 64 in a tornado with four screaming kids, was her reply! So rare for this area but I am glad everyone is ok!

Can you believe I had just finished "Storm cell" the movie when Renee called me? Freaky.

Hi All.

I live on the East Coast. We have had nutty weather once again. Rain, wind, Winter's back. Yesterday and this morning, people had their winter coats on, (with hoods), and mittens. And it's April 29th.

Hopefully, summer is right around the corner. I can't believe that less than 5 days ago, my landlord's daughter was in the backyard in her bathing suit, and this morning everybody is wearing winter apparel again.

oh boy!!!

Well glad we didn't get THAT east coast weather its 65 here today!

I feel your pain, Melody..A few days ago, the Weather Channel said the Upper Midwest was on suicide watch because of the latest snow storm coming thru..Weather's getting better, but now they think the most severe weather will hit late Spring/Early Summer this year rather than Fall..I'm still looking for that perfect place..No snow, no tornadoes, no earthquakes or hurricanes..Not too hot, not too cold. Just call me Goldilocks..

DH came home last night and said that one of the guys who works for him has some pretty severe damage. Both houses across the street are gone. Only reason his is standing is because the guys building his addition actually saw the tornado coming and ran in and opened all the windows before they hunkered down. Even still, every window is cracked, 5 holes in the roof, all the siding needs to be replaced, etc. Wow.

It is wow the pictures amaze me everyday! Have you called the volunteer line? They said last night they still needed people to help cook, help with deliveries, that type of thing. How is the selling of your house going?
