Confused Flour and Rice rations

Okay My MIL and Her sis have either flipped or I have missed something...
granted they are older ladies but..........they went to Aldi's yesterday and got 10 bags of flour and 5 huge bags of rice. They said they heard there was going to be a ration started on them....they are going to buy that same amount a week until it starts......okay I kinda freaked out.....

Then my Sister whom lives here called me this am and said she saw it on tv and that wal-mart was saying they were going to put limits on the flour and rice they allowed a person to buy.....(shes kinda cook-coo) so I dont even know to believe her.....)

So has anyone else heard of this????????
Should I join the Girls in the stashing mission or should I nip it now so they will stop the insanity??????

I'm not sure what Wal mart's deal was, but I heard it started at Sam's club. some restaurants were buying extra thinking the price was going to go up any second, and Sam's was running out.

so Sam's limited them to so many 80lb bags per day.

Then Walmart started limiting too, because they would get their limit at Sam's and head to Wal mart and use up all their supply too. It was hoarding for the price by restaurants that started all this as I hear it.

I don't like rice so I could not care less if there was none left on the planet.

Hi ffm. Imust be going nuts as I read the title as rice relations. lol Must
be all the polictal threads going on.....

I think this is just in the bulk/food clubs. not in the regular stores.

I dont think there is cause for concern yet. But if I cant buy my
crusty baguettes, LOOK OUT!
