Exclamation Ebay, Ebay Xpress, Half.com and Paypal users!!!

Check your addresses on all accounts! Jim and I just found our address was messed up. Somehow the address was switched to our old address. We now have three items floating in post office space. Of course Paypal says they are sorry, don't know how this happened, lada lada lada.

My best advice is to go in and check all your addresses to make sure they are correct. I am currently talking to the resolution center to figure this out.

Paypal and Ebay are acting like it's our fault. THEY said WE changed our address each time we ordered. I asked the lady on the phone why in the he11 would I do such a thing? Why would I ask a seller to send an item to my old address? She said this is what we have been doing for years. WHAT???? IS SHE KIDDING ME? I told them that I think that that is a cop out on their part and to say the buyer is at fault is beyond ridiculous. I have been buying for almost four years at this address and never once did my old address show up. ARGHHHHHH!!!!!!! Do they really think I am stupid???? This is just another way to place the blame on the consumer.

Anyway, go to all your accounts and check your addresses. Especially check your Ebay addressees and click on "view all shipping addresses" to make sure you don't have an old address there. Even though my old address was not in there, they say I changed it. Oy vey!!

I am off to contact all four sellers and pray my stuff was sent back. Make sure you check each time you buy anything that your current address is correct. Ugh

Good idea, Sandy.

My eBay was compromised when someone hacked in and ordered $1000's of stuff, including Gucci sandals from Italy!!!

He changed my addy to some address in New York!

I was able to finally stop everything, but eBay does NOT make it easy to find out how to do it. I was emailing people left and right, and telling them not to ship their stuff.

Somehow the hacker was able to send emails with my name on them!!!

Finally, I was able to find a phone number and someone at eBay helped me resolve the nightmare!

We don't have Paypal anymore; actually for quite sometime now. Had a bad experience with that and now ebay owns it. Yes, a person has to be certain that their address is correct. Always something Have to be aware for sure
