Talking A positive solutions thread

Do you have any thoughts or ideas that might be good for the nation, the world?

some basic topics - but ideas and solutions only...

Energy - fuels, solar, wind, electricity
Jobs
Food - safety, cost
Health care
Land in general - forests, rivers, urban sprawl, farming
Homeland security

I'd really like to hear your ideas on some of these, and there are many more topics too.
If you have had a great thought on something post it here and lets talk about it.

yes some sort of $$$ incentives for the everyday person to go solar or hybred or wind power, instead of using these funds to entice industry to move and build and allow them to pollute

pick up a piece of litter eveyday

Health ---to me that means buying only fresh stuff, produce, fish, etc. Nothing with added sugar, or preservatives.

And if you eat meat, buy the stuff without anti-biotics. God knows what they are putting in our food lately.

I just heard that it's legal to use cloned animals for food. They are cloning cattle and pigs.

Thank the Lord I don't eat beef and pork.

So to me, it begins with what we put in our mouth.

I mean, the next time any of you go to the store, go and pick up a package of Twinkies. Read what is in a Twinkie. You have NO IDEA HOW MANY INGREDIENTS MAKE UP A PACKAGE OF TWINKIES.

Something like 97 ingredients. (maybe even more).
