I titled this thread Burping, because that is what I did last night.
It wasn't anything major, Had some gas, and I couldn't figure out WHY!!! I juice a small glass of GREEN stuff every morning. Fresh veggies. I go to the bathroom. All is well. BUT yesterday, I added a new veggie to the mix. I had watched a Jack La Lanne infomercial and his wife added green bell peppers to the juicing process. I had said to myself "oh, peppers", that might be healthy too!!! So I took half a bell pepper and added it to my celery, carrot parsely, and other veggies I used. Well, I don't think I'll be peppering any more. It finally dawned on me after I said 'why the heck am I burping all night long? I said 'oh, it must be the peppers". I'm fine today by the way, and I'll never pepper again. lol

I wouldn't put a pepper in my juicer if you gave me money.
I learn from my mistakes. I wonder what Broccoli would do. Can a person put that in a juicer?? Oh, wait until you see the adorable pics I'm putting up in one minute. Melody

I get gas from all kinds of veggies.
I have my Beano for that, and my Lactaid for lactose! It is so much fun being old, I tell ya! Cabbage and I don't get along, even with Beano!

The oddest thing just happened to me. I have been feeling great, walking (the weather has been cooperating).
Just now, we had to go around the corner for something little thing. Alan had his shoe boot thing on, and I was walking fine. Five minutes later it started to rain. It must be 100% humidity outside. All of a sudden, my left hip and upper thigh started to kill me. I said "Alan, I'm in pain, I have to stop". I'm fine if I don't move. But I limped all the way home. I'm the kind of person, when if it's 100 degrees outside and hot as heck, I'm just fine. But let the humidity kick in and I'm no good to anyone, and I'm bent or I can't move. So now it's in my left hip or thigh or something. I mean, I was absolutely fine 10 minutes ago. Then we felt the rain drops, it got really sticky outside and BAM. I hate being 60 if this is what osteoarthritis does to one's body. It really stinks. I just but some TIGER BALM (Mrs. D. take note. lol) Thank god for Tiger Balm. Melody
