There is nothing better on this earth than a sweet smelling baby who coos at you. It's like heaven.

I just had a good memory. I'd like to share it.

My son was about 8 months old, in his playpen and I was taking in the wash from the line outside of my window. He was watching me. There was some kind of a cricket stuck in one of the socks. I had the sock in my hand and when I went fold it over, it made a SOUND. You should have seen me jump out of my skin.

I kept trying to fold the sock, the sock kept making the sound, AND MY SON STARTING LAUGHING SO HARD, well it was the funniest sound a baby could make. And even though, I'm petrified of bugs, do you know that I spent 15 minutes folding that sock with the darn cricket inside of it, just so it could make that sound and my son could do his belly laughs.

Oh for the good old says.
